In the scope of its educational program Mind has signed a new agreement with the major university in Uzbekistan. MindCAD 2D and MindCAD 3D as well as Mind ShoeDesign will be used to teach the use of software CAD/CAM tools in the design and production of footwear.

Mind has signed with the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) a protocol enabling this renowned university to use MindCAD and Mind ShoeDesign software in their footwear courses or other teaching activities.

Mind has recently installed a unit of an Eurolaser Machine (M-800) in its Demo Room. Mind is the official reseller of Eurolaser through its division Eurolaser Iberia for Portugal and Spain. Mind technicians have now received the official training and are able to show you all the versatility of these machines for customers in those two countries. DIVA stands for Digital Inspection and Virtual Annotation. It is a piece of hardware, conceived and designed by Mind and produced by a highly specialized Portuguese partner, which combined with software is suitable for any industry where there is a need to automatically digitize contours of heterogeneous and/or irregular shapes like for instance leather and manually and with the manual non destructively annotate defects.

Mind has launched a new software to complement is suite for footwear. This new software, Mind ShoeDesign is specially conceived to be a tool for early conceptual design and to be used by those of us that have little or no experience in 3D Design Tools. It is aimed at those who prefer a simple environment where they can draw their first ideas. 

With more than a thousand licenses sold worldwide Mind and distributors in 13 different countries and two direct subsidiaries (USA and China) Mind is proud to announce the upcoming of a new distributor for the Italian market.
